This is an opportunity to become a part of the business at an exciting point of growth and take the lead on a brand new showroom in Tweed Heads. You’ll have an opportunity to shape the culture, team and customer experience of a new location from the outset.

THE ROLE

As Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and presentation of the new Tweed Heads showroom, leading a team of approximately 5 people.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership position for an experienced retail professional who understands the balance between commercial performance and exceptional customer service.
You will set the tone for the showroom, leading from the front, developing your team and ensuring every customer interaction reflects the high standards of the business.

Day-to-Day

• Lead and inspire a small, high-performing showroom team
• Take ownership of showroom sales performance, targets and commercial outcomes
• Create a polished and engaging customer journey from first interaction through to sale
• Coach and develop team members across sales, service and product knowledge
• Establish a strong culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance
• Maintain exceptional showroom presentation and visual standards
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring the showroom runs seamlessly and efficiently
• Manage stock, administration, cash handling and operational processes with a high level of accuracy
• Build strong customer relationships and confidently resolve any service-related matters
• Monitor individual and team performance, providing ongoing feedback and development
• Support recruitment and onboarding as the new team is established
• Work closely with the broader business to deliver commercial and operational objectives
• Play a key role in preparing the showroom for its launch and establishing its reputation within the local market

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Proven experience in a Store Manager, Showroom Manager or comparable leadership position
• A strong background in premium retail, furniture, interiors, luxury, lifestyle or consultative sales will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop a small team
• Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to deliver against sales targets
• A natural ability to build genuine customer relationships and deliver an elevated service experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational capability and attention to detail
• Confident managing both people and day-to-day operational responsibilities
• A polished, professional and customer-focused approach
• A hands-on leadership style with the confidence to take ownership and make decisions
• Ambition to build something successful and establish a new showroom within the local market

SALARY

$90,000 – $95,000 + Superannuation + Commissions
